Rose Marie McCoy (April 19, 1922 – January 20, 2015) was a singer and a prolific songwriter during the 1950s and 1960s. She published more than 800 songs that would be recorded by such legendary artists as Big Maybelle, James Brown, Ruth Brown, Nat King Cole, Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley, and Ike & Tina Turner.
