Women's History Month: 23rd Annual Lady Got Chops Music and Arts Festival

Please join us to celebrate Women's HERstory Month on Saturday, March 15, from 12-4pm for an amazing festival of world renowned jazz musicians who happen to be women! Kim Clarke, from East Elmhurst, has been producing (and performing in) this festival for over 23 years promoting women in jazz throughout New York City. In addition to Clarke, the show will feature the following performers: Bertha and Monica Hope, Laura Dreyer, Stephanie Jeannot, Jane Getter, Deborah Knapper, Shanelle Jenkins, Bernice Brooks, and many more. This event is co-sponsored in part by a grant from NewMusic USA. For Women's History Month, discover more programs, recommended books, movies, and resources at https://connect.queenslibrary.org/3485
