Climate Ready: Getting Prepared for the Next Flood, Drought, or Worse

Climate Ready includes workshops and online resources to inform the public about related health implications, how to prepare residents for future major events, and understand how current and pending laws, regulations, and policies may affect you. The goal of this workshop is to educate ourselves about the fundamentals of climate change and its environmental emergencies, so that we can protect ourselves and foster a climate-resilient Queens community. What is climate change vs. global warming? Why is climate change happening? What are the effects of climate change? What kind of emergencies can affect my community? What can I do about climate change? Climate Ready is for anyone -- homeowners, renters, business owners, families, seniors, college students, environmental advocates and supporters, to stay more knowledgeable and informed. Climate Ready is made possible through the generous support of Con Edison.
