Black History Month: Central Teens & Young Adults - Movie Fridays

Join the Central Library Teen Center for Black History Month Movies every Friday in February! In honor of Black History Month and the 2025 ASALH theme, African Americans and Labor, we’ll explore the profound ways work—free and not free, skilled and unskilled, vocational and voluntary—has shaped the collective experiences of Black people. Teens and young adults are invited to engage in dynamic discussions before and after each film for a chance to win a free copy of "March: Book One," the award-winning graphic novel by John Lewis. Participants in the discussions will be entered into a weekly raffle drawing! This program is free and open to all teens and young adults ages 12-24 years old. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, connect, and celebrate Black history through film! Fridays in February Central Library Teen Center Programming Room 3:30 - 5:00 PM
