Women's History Month: Girl Groups & the Power of Singing Together!

Is there anything more powerful than singing in a group? Come and find out! Join singer-songwriter + educator Joanna Schubert, also known as Oropendola, on a musical journey of some of the most fun, fabulous, and influential all-women groups (aka "girl groups") throughout modern pop history. We will hear these women's stories, listen to their recordings, explore the basics of harmony, and, most importantly... SING! This program is made possible by the generous support of the NYS Assembly Queens Delegation.
