Creative Aging: Drawing to See

During this six-session workshop series, we will explore several approaches to drawing using mostly dry media. You will understand how to see more accurately, and to draw what your eyes perceive. We will examine art historical precedents to help us understand how drawing practices developed. This is a beginner-level drawing class: more experienced artists are also welcome to join! For more information and to register, please call Whitestone library at (718) 767-8010. This workshop series is made possible, in part, by the generous support of The Pickman Foundation and individual donations to the Queens Public Library Foundation.
