Join us for an evening of sharing and discussing writing! Our featured reader is poet Bruce E. Whitacre, author of “The Elk in the Glade: The World of Pioneer and Painter Jennie Hicks.” His work has been recognized as a BookLife Reviews Editors' Pick, an Indy Spotlight selection, and he won 2nd place in Contemporary Poetry at The BookFest Spring 2023. He has also received nominations for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net. His forthcoming collection, "Good Housekeeping," will be published in 2024 by Poets Wear Prada. A retired theater executive, Bruce lives with his husband in Queens, NY.
