12/26 | 2:30-4pm: Umoja (Unity), Kujichagulia (Self-Determination)
How can I contribute to my community? Participants will explore the significance of unity through engaging discussions and create personal vision boards to address this question.
12/28 | 10am-12:30pm: Ujima (Collective Work & Responsibility) and Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics)
A time to create together – featuring activities working to bring vision boards, sewing and crafts together as a community.
12/30 | 2:30-4pm: Nia (Purpose), Kuumba (Creativity), and Imani (Faith)
Our final celebration explores the rich traditions of Kwanzaa through a creative arts showcase– featuring community farming, sewing, and visual art from Queensbridge’s own.
