Teen girls that love to wear sneakers will get an opportunity to design, create, and customize their own. Sneakers will be provided or bring your favorites. Please register at East Elmhurst Library by November 21, so we can provide sneakers to teens. This workshop will include topics such as the history of the sneaker industry for women and the importance of women sneaker designers. The Sneaker Girls Club's (SGC) mission is to focus on female entrepreneurship and women's sneaker designers. This program is funded by New York State Assembly Member Jeffrion Aubry.
